摘要：A desiccant canister for an air braking system having dual internal air flow pathsand means for avoiding localized compression of a molecular desiccant sieve (30) in aninner shell (24) spring-loaded into an outer shell (22). To increase the internal flowpathwithout increasing the outer size of the canister, a baffle plate (48) is provided within theinner shell (24) to divide the molecular sieve into an outer annular chamber and innercore of roughly equivalent flow dimension. To avoid localized compression of themolecular sieve, the inner shell (24) is spring loaded into the outer shell (22) andcooperates with the sliding baffle plate (48) to effect equilibrium.
