Reading After The Shawshank Redemption

The story begins with trial of a young banker, Andy Durfrense, who was victimized by circumstantial evidence. In the prison of shawshank, he met up with lots of people who had been in the prison for ten of years without hope. Everyone there dawdled and adapted to the hidden rules, like the old man said“Some birds aren’t mean to be caged, but most birds will choose to stand it.”The arrival of Andy took some differences to the jail, and he made good friend with an old man named Ellis Boyd'Red' Redding. Red in 1927 was sentenced to life imprisonment for murder, and he was the “authority figure” of shawshank prison, as long as you can afford it he could almost have ways to get whatever you want. It is the person who afforded Andy the tools helping him jailbreak in the future, a stone hammer and a poster of Dita Hayworth.
Andy wouldn’t recover freedom since he helped the warden make false accounts. Nonetheless, Andy didn’t surrender to these in the prison. Under the cover of the poster, he used a litter stone hammer chiseled a hole on the wall of his home. Also he took use of the special relationship with the warden to create a new identity and get the black money of the warden himself. Andy spent a full 20 years finishing that hole! The bright brain, the never fading persistent and the most important---hope support his unbelievable success
The part impressed me most is when Andy get out of the prison, he extended
his arm in the heavy rain, if he were welcoming the fresh air and the freedom. At that moment, I sure the confidence win the darkness, discharging light dazzling the eyes in the dark blue sky. Under the light, I could find my recreated heart being shivering as he said“Remember, hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies!”We may lost many things like money, health and even relatives, but we couldn’t live without hope.
We all have dreams, we all have hope. They give us confidence and courage to sit here to study. Please never give up, the much stronger the hope is, the more easily the success to achieve.
