1) 学生B打电话给学生A，要选《英语阅读与写作》课程，A 告诉B这门课的有关信息，如上课时间，考试方式，任课老师等。

A: Hello, B , this is A.

B: Hi, A. What’s the matter?

A: You know I am busy with choosing class these days.

B: Yeah, which course do you prefer?

A: I ‘d like to register for English Reading and Writing. Do you have some information about this

course?

B: Emm…let me see, I intended to register for this course too, so I took some notes. This is the

only course with Professor Zhou. And I hear of that she is a nice instructor.

A: What time is the course?

B: It meets on Saturdays from 8 am to 11 am and it starts on next Saturday.

A: Oh, it takes three hours each class, a little long.

B: Of course you can have a break time of 20 minutes in the class

A: That’s great! By the way, what format will it be?

B: There will be an open-exam in the 19th week. But the final exam only counts 70%, the rest you

can be easy to get unless you are late or absent.

B: Yeah.

4)A（顾客）在店里买了一个MP3, 有问题，是保修期内。问B（营业员）能否免费维修。

A:good afternoon,madam.may i help you?

B:yes,i bought a mp3 here last weekend,but the home key is not working now.

A:did you bring it with you?

B:yeah, here you are.

A:well, it needs repairing.

B: i just bought it for 3 days. i'm sure that this product is in the warranty period. can you repair it for free.

A:sorry madam, our maintenance man is going to exam it, and if there is no sign that the mp3 had been watered, we'll repair it for free. now ,may i see your invoice, i need to take a record and make sure that the mp3 is in the warranty period.

B:oh,i forgot to bring that. but i do remember the time and the place i bought it, and i didn't pay it by cash, i paid by credit card. can you get the information if i tell you these?

A:sorry madam ,i can't do that but the maintenance man finished the exam just now, and it shows that you can get it repaired for free if it's in the warranty period. you can come again and bring the invoice and we can repair it for you. but if you want to get it repaired right now without the invoice ,you need to pay for it.

B:ok, i guess i'll get it repaired next time. thank you.

A: May I take your order now?

B: Yeah, I am going to have the New York Strip Steak.

A: OK. How do you like your steak done , medium, medium well or well done?

B: I think medium well is great.

A: Yes, what kind of accompaniments do you like to match your steak ?

B: Baked potato.

A: Any condiment?

B: No, thank you, I prefer the original taste of the steak.

A: Do you want some wine go with your steak?

B: A glass of wine will be fine.

A: Anything else? Like dessert? We have pan, cake and pudding.

B: I’ll have angel food cake with strawberries

B: Yes, my name is Felicia, here is my resume.

A: You seem a bit nervous. Just relax and make yourself comfortable, and let’s go straight to the point, why do you want to apply for this position?

B: Thanks for your question. this is my first time for an interview for sales manager so it makes me kind of tense. Basically, I love communicating with people and dealing with different situations, more importantly, I am interested in market sales.

A: can you tell me about your former working experiences?

B: Definitely, I was in the Robert’s as a merchandiser in sales department before I came here, it is something about the company system that I decide to leave; my day-to-day work includes e-mailing with customers mainly in the U.S;

when customers visit, to participate in the reception and talk. etc.

A: do you have any plans for your future work if you get the position successfully?

B: Sorry, I do not have a detailed schedule but I do have some primary assumptions. First of all, I would see to my work including analyzing market trends, training sales personnel. Second, I would like to expand our market range to China because it is a promising place to achieve better future development.

A: Well, thanks for your performance. I am now giving you some feedback starting with your merits. I think you are excellent in communicating with people. According to your former working experience, you impressed me about your passion and conscientiousness .But there is something I want to say about your plan , it seems that you are well organized but I think your plan lacks details. However, I have to say you are quite potential and I want to see your detailed schedule next Monday and this theoretically means you are hired. Congratulations!

7)学生A和学生B计划周末去博物馆(明确出发时间、地点，交通工具，主要参观内容)。

A:hi, how’s it going?

B:as a matter of fact, I was really bored these days. You know what, I felt like I was trapped in the endless homework.

A:actually I felt the same, so why not go and have fun this weekends?

B:good idea, but where shall we go?

A:let’s go visit the museum!

B:museum would be nice, and I know that the city history museum has an enormous amount of collections including paintings and sculptures.

A:oh, that would be great. Let’s meet at my house this Saturday afternoon. I just got the drive license, we can drive my dad’s car.

B:that’s nice, but I was wondering if we could leave earlier, so that we can go shopping after the visit.

A:shopping would be great, so we’ll make it 8 in the morning , is that ok with you ?
