摘要：A process for preparing an aqueous solution of acrylamide, which comprises

catalytically hydrating acrylonitrile in the presence of a metal-containing catalyst toform a mixed aqueous solution containing about 15 to about 35% by weight ofacrylamide and about 0.5 to about 20% by weight of acrylonitrile, and

concentrating the mixed aqueous solution to a high concentration aqueous solutionof acrylamide having an acrylonitrile concentration of about 0. 1% by weight or less usinga centrifugal film evaporator in which a stream of mixed aqueous solution and a stream ofevaporated vapor flow countercurrently to each other.
