摘要：This invention relates to the development of a composition formulation and

method employed to alter the absorption site of orally administrated drugs, to promotethe absorption of bioactive lipophilic and/or hydrophilic compounds from the

gastrointestinal tract, and as a result to increase drug bioavailability. Applications of themethods and formulations according to the invention are also described. The

composition formulation comprises pharmaceuticals or nutraceuticals (hydrophilic and/orlipophilic compounds) in combination with one or more organic solvents and one or moreacid protectants. The composition formulation is formulated into a dosage form, which isin conformity with pharmaceutical or nutraceutical requirements, is administrated orallyto facilitate the absorption, and can avoid undesired degradation and metabolism ofpharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals in the gastrointestinal tract thereby increasing theiroverall bioavailability.
