It is said that people always compliant their bad memory especially in english words recital. How to remember the words in short time? How to keep your words after several days or months like you remember it first time? My suggestions are that first, read again your new words after one, three, five, one week, two weeks and one month to promote your memory. Second, do use your new words to compose sentences which you can use them for speaking. Third, to get new words in shopping or TV and that will aid you remeber new words easily. I think if you can do more exceise in your memory, your mind will everlast younger than you ever think.
